Senior Support Night

What?

Join us to provide guidance and assistance to students and families in completing the FAFSA application. During designated work sessions, volunteers will help answer questions and clarify the FAFSA process, ensuring that our Breakthrough students can successfully submit their applications.

 

Who?

We are seeking skilled-based volunteers, particularly counselors, who have experience with the FAFSA process. Your expertise will help empower students and families as they navigate this important step in securing financial aid for their education.

 

When and Where?

The FAFSA support sessions will take place on:

  • Wednesday, December 4th at Hoover (1635 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95126)

  • Thursday, December 5th at Bridges Academy (1702 McLaughlin Ave, San Jose, CA 95122)

Both sessions will run from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Volunteers are encouraged to participate on one or both days, depending on availability.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Training and guiding handouts will be provided to ensure you are equipped to support participants effectively.
