AmeriCorps Academic and College Planning Advisor
As the AmeriCorps Academic and College Planning Advisor, you will guide a cohort of middle or high school students on their path to college by building strong relationships and providing individualized academic and goal-setting support. Advisors monitor student progress, connect them with resources, and lead workshops on topics like career exploration, college planning, and skill development. They also help foster a positive student community through events and programming during the school year and summer, keeping students engaged and on track for long-term success.
The Admissions Program Intern is a part of BTSV’s admissions team. In the fall, you’ll work with the team to support the launch of BTSV’s middle school admissions application for Franklin McKinley School District and San Jose Unified School District students.

As the Academic Support Program Intern, you’ll oversee the operations of BTSV’s academic support center, where we provide both scheduled and drop-in tutoring to 7th-12th grade students every Monday through Thursday after school.
